How do you record attendance?
Every child gets a childcare card with a QR code. Your team scans it at drop-off and pick-up in the staff app, on a phone or tablet, using the childcare and attendance module. For small groups, a simple tick list works too.
We already use Quick School. Can we move to Stageo?
Yes, and we've written an honest comparison: Stageo vs Quick School. It shows where each one does best, and how to switch without starting over, ideally during a quieter period.
Our rates depend on the time, the day and the school. Can Stageo cope?
Yes. You set your time bands and prices per weekday and per school: a flat rate per band, or a charge per quarter of an hour, after 6 pm for example. The whole month's sessions go on a single invoice per family.
Can we charge for late pick-ups?
Yes. When a child is scanned out after closing time, the late fee you've set is added automatically.
We run several schools. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Each site has its own hours, rates and team, and your reports pull them all together.
When do parents get their invoice?
Whenever suits you, usually at the start of the month for the month before. Parents pay online or by direct debit, bank transfers are matched automatically and reminders go out on their own.
Are tax certificates generated automatically?
Yes. Childcare tax certificates list the days attended and the amounts paid, and land straight in the parent portal.
Which countries and languages does Stageo work in?
Stageo runs end to end in English, French and Dutch, whether you call it wraparound care, a breakfast and after-school club or out-of-school care. Payment methods and official documents vary by country, so we'll go through what applies to you during the demo.
Can we run after-school activities from the same place?
Yes. After-school activities and childcare share one family account, so parents see every booking and every invoice for all their children in one place.
